What Is TR-069? The Key Protocol Behind Remote Broadband Device Management
As broadband networks continue to grow, operators are required to manage an increasing number of customer-side devices. From home routers to optical network units (ONUs), a medium-sized ISP network may include tens of thousands or even millions of devices.
Managing such a large infrastructure manually would be extremely inefficient. Tasks such as configuration updates, firmware upgrades, and troubleshooting would require significant operational effort.

Understanding the TR-069 Protocol
