v3.0 · Effective October 16, 2026
Subscription renewal and expansion rules
Understand standard billing, renewal, upgrades, expansion, membership and AI eligibility. Actual change charges depend on account orders, historical entitlements and the fixed baseline.
01
Billing and plan selection
Purchased PON ports and ONU capacity are billed together, not OLT counts or live online counts. ONU rounds up in units of 100; OLT and TR-069 access do not duplicate licenses.
Limits are not minimum purchases. Exceeding either requires a higher tier; features can also motivate a higher tier. Monthly list price = PON count × tier monthly unit price + rounded ONU units of 100 × tier monthly unit price.
Quarterly, semiannual and annual discounts are 2%, 5% and 10%. Multiply monthly list amounts by cycle months and discount factors, rounding monetary stages half-up to cents. Separate price, discount and tax; USD before tax. Monthly equivalents are not monthly payment quotes.
How are add-ons and special proposals confirmed?
Price platform, membership features, membership services and independent AI separately, without duplicate charges for included benefits. Confirm capabilities, quotas, retention and support against valid entitlements and releases; price approval does not imply availability. Special proposals specify scope, price and validity.
02
Renewal and upgrades
Standard annual renewal receives an extra 15% after the annual 10% discount, with no membership required. Eligible genuine Essential → Growth upgrades receive up to 30% extra, Growth → Scale up to 50%. These three benefits are mutually exclusive.
The 30% / 50% benefits require active membership or VIP through formal AI subscription covering the scope and term. Neither capacity may decrease and at least one must increase for a genuine adjacent expansion upgrade. Direct higher-tier purchases, trials and credits do not automatically qualify.
The upgrade annual fee is the higher of the discounted target annual fee and the prior tier’s annual renewal under actual entitlements. The latter is the floor, never assumed zero. Continuing benefits do not lock prices permanently or compound on last year’s net price.
Why can the same capacity have different prices?
Historical baselines, entitlements, eligibility and contracts may differ. Read original orders, fixed baselines and eligibility dates instead of applying the new-purchase formula to current capacity. Supply missing history; upgrade paths need not converge to one price.
03
Expansion and mid-term changes
Same-tier annual fee = fixed baseline annual fee + cumulative additional annual fees, shown separately. Expansion and renewal do not reset the baseline. Apply the floor once to the baseline, never repeatedly to additions.
Additions retain the current applicable benefit without automatically gaining a new discount. Additional ONU units = rounded units after expansion minus rounded units before. With identical baseline, prices and benefit, staged expansion must give the same annual fee.
On a later tier change, combine the baseline and cumulative additions to set the new floor. Mid-term changes keep the original expiry by default. Pure additions are billed only for the actual remaining term, not a full extra year.
Can a replacement deduct the full old order automatically?
No. Calculate annual fees, term proration, usable balance and amount due separately, checking credit and refund conditions. Never reuse the same amount; downsizing does not automatically create a cash refund.
04
Membership and AI eligibility
Members need no separate AI subscription. ISPs without membership can obtain VIP through formal AI subscription, with no separate VIP fee. Eligibility must cover capacity and benefit term; standard 15% annual renewal needs neither status.
If eligibility lapses, paid terms follow the original order. Next term, renew each component at standard 15%; suspend the floor but retain its record. If status returns with the corresponding capacity unchanged, the next annual renewal resumes original benefits without automatic retroactive refunds. Specific contracts take precedence.
AI trials cover only expressly free features, quotas and dates, without automatic paid conversion. Trials and credits do not automatically grant eligibility. Extra three months require valid conditions and exact dates; confirmed grants extending into the next year are honored.
How do I check my free experience benefits?
Check account entitlements for explicit features, quotas and dates. If missing or incomplete, ask support first. Unlisted features are not assumed free or unlimited; paid offerings require a valid quote.
05
Effective date and existing orders
v3.0 is effective October 16, 2026. Effective contracts, paid benefits and confirmed grants are honored without retroactive recalculation. Specific contract terms take precedence.
Manage renewals, upgrades and expansion through account orders. The pricing calculator estimates standard new subscriptions only and is not an order quote. Actual charges require historical benefits, the baseline, eligibility dates and floor; missing history never implies a zero floor.
Quotes separate annual fees, proration, usable balances and amount due. Routine transactions follow applicable rules; verify original orders and usage records for balances, credits and refunds. Payment methods appear at Stripe checkout.
What if the action or order history is missing?
Contact support through this page with the original order, capacities, expiry and eligibility. Do not replace a change with a duplicate purchase. Refunds need written requests and contract/policy review; downsizing is not an automatic refund and used balances or credits cannot be reused.
Two full-year examples
Same-tier expansion: baseline + cumulative additions
Growth expands from 17 PON / 2,000 ONU to 32 PON / 3,000 ONU, retaining the continuing 30% benefit. Annual fee: $554.90 baseline + $336.42 cumulative additions = $891.32. With unchanged prices, eligibility and capacity, both parts remain next year without an extra 15%.
Tier upgrade: prior annual renewal floor
Growth at 128 PON / 10,000 ONU genuinely upgrades to Scale at 129 PON / 10,000 ONU. Prior renewal uses standard 15%; the upgrade qualifies for 50%. Target standard annual fee: $5,516.10; after the extra benefit: $2,758.05; prior renewal floor: $3,842.75. Full annual fee is the higher value, $3,842.75.
Examples use v3.0 prices: USD before tax, full year, platform only, valid eligibility and no other contract protection. Mid-term amounts are prorated separately. Historical baselines can produce different prices at the same capacity; examples are not live invoices.
